Expert Interior Painting in Grand Junction, CO

Painter cutting in a crisp line where the wall meets white trim during an interior painting job in Grand Junction CO

Interior painting in Grand Junction covers walls, ceilings, trim, doors and the repair work that has to happen before any of it. We have been doing this here since 2011, with our own crews, and every job carries a nine-year written guarantee on workmanship.

Your estimate is free and itemised, and it includes a full hour with a colour designer. It shows you the prep your walls need and what that prep costs, so you can see where the money goes before you decide anything.

What every interior job includes

How our interior painting process works

01

We look at the actual rooms

We walk the space with you, room by room. We check wall condition, measure ceiling height, count the trim and the doors, and note anything that needs repair first. You hear what we found and what it means for the price before we leave.

02

Free colour hour

A trained colour designer spends an hour with you at no charge, working from what you are keeping: floor tone, worktops, cabinet finish and the light the room actually gets. You leave with specific colour and sheen picks, written down.

03

We protect everything before we open a tin

Furniture moves to the centre of the room and gets covered. Floors run with canvas drop cloths, taped at the baseboard. Switch plates, outlet covers and door hardware come off rather than getting cut around. Anything you would rather move yourself, tell us at the estimate and we plan around it.

Room masked off before interior painting in Grand Junction CO with drop cloths taped at the baseboards and switch plates removed

Masked, cloth down, plates off. This is the room before a single tin is opened.

04

Prep

Fill nail holes and cracks, sand smooth, caulk the gap where trim meets wall, then spot-prime every repair. Water marks, smoke and marker get a stain-blocking primer, because those bleed through finish paint however many coats go over them. Prep is most of the labour on an interior job, and it is the part that decides how the finish looks in two years.

05

Paint

Cut lines by hand, roll the fields, two coats wherever the colour change needs it. The same crew stays on your job from start to finish. Our dry air pulls the surface dry quickly, so we keep a wet edge and work in manageable sections rather than chasing a whole wall at once.

06

Daily cleanup, then a walkthrough

We tidy at the end of every day so the house stays usable. When the work is done we walk it with you under the room own lighting, which is where you will actually see it. Anything on your list gets put right, hardware goes back on, and payment comes after you have signed off.

Why homeowners pick us for interior painting in Grand Junction

Nine-year written workmanship guarantee badge, Integrity Painting

Nine years, in writing

Nine years, in writing, on workmanship, on every interior job. It is issued with your paperwork at completion. If something we prepared and painted fails inside that window, we come back and put it right.

Integrity Painting Google and Yelp Review Rating Badge

4.9 stars, 255+ reviews

4.9 stars across 255+ Google reviews, and seven consecutive Best of the West wins from the Daily Sentinel. A lot of those reviews name the painter who did the work, which is the part we are proudest of.

You pay nothing upfront. No deposit. We complete the work, you walk it with us, and you pay once you have approved it. That is how every interior job runs, from a single room to a whole house.

What we paint inside your home

Repair comes before paint. Nail pops, settlement cracks, drywall damage and failed texture all get made good first, and texture is matched to the surrounding wall. Paint sharpens a bad patch rather than hiding it, which is why this happens first.

Paint and technique we actually use

Brands

Sherwin-Williams and Benjamin Moore.

Walls

100% acrylic latex, washable matt or eggshell. Eggshell in hallways, kids rooms and anywhere that gets wiped.

Trim and doors

Waterborne alkyd or acrylic enamel, satin or semi-gloss. The enamel levels out brush marks as it cures and takes a wipe-down without burnishing.

Ceilings

Flat. Any sheen on a ceiling shows every imperfection under downlights.

Kitchens and baths

Acrylic with a moisture-resistant additive, eggshell or satin, for rooms that see steam.

Stains and colour change

A stain-blocking primer, rather than a third finish coat.

Dry and recoat

The recoat window is short in our dry air, so we plan the day around it rather than rushing a second coat onto paint that has not cured.

Our crews are trained against Painting Contractors Association standards, and we are an EPA Lead-Safe certified firm. If your home was built before 1978 we follow lead-safe testing and containment as a matter of course.

Common questions

Can we live in the house while you work?

Almost always yes. We work room by room, keep walkways clear, and clean up at the end of every day so the house stays usable while the job runs.

Usually one to three days including prep and dry time. Ceiling height, repair work and coat count decide where in that range you land. You get a realistic window at the estimate, and a call if anything changes.

Yes. We move it to the centre, cover it, and put it back where it was. Anything fragile or very heavy, flag it at the estimate and we agree a plan.

Yes, including repairing and texture-matching any damage first. Ceilings get a flat finish so downlights do not pick out every imperfection.

Modern low-VOC acrylics are much milder than older paints. We ventilate as we go, and most rooms are comfortable to use the same evening.

Yes. Your job is staffed by our own employees, and the same crew stays on it from prep through to the final walkthrough.

Any time. Interior work is not weather dependent, and winter is often the easiest to schedule. Dry times stay short here year round.

No. Plenty of our interior jobs run while owners are at work. We agree access at the estimate and send you an update at the end of each day.

Seven-Time Best of the West Winner

Seven consecutive Best of the West wins from the Daily Sentinel is not a one-off. It is Grand Junction voting for the same painting crew seven years running.

Daniel came out of the military, started knocking doors in 2011, and built the company on the same standard he holds now. If a wall is not right, it gets fixed before anyone asks.
