Our painting service areas cover Grand Junction and most of Mesa County, plus Montrose to the south. Fifteen years in, we have painted in nearly every community on this stretch of the Western Slope.
There is no travel charge anywhere on this list, and the nine-year written guarantee is identical whichever town you are in. So is the rest of it: our own employees on site, an itemised estimate with a free hour of colour consultation, Sherwin-Williams and Benjamin Moore coatings, and no payment until you have walked the finished work.
One thing does change with location, and it is worth knowing before you book exterior work. This is high desert. The UV index runs high through the summer, daily temperature swings of forty to fifty degrees are normal, and the dry air shortens the recoat window. Elevation and exposure shift that from town to town, which changes how a surface has failed and how we schedule the work. Most valley-floor exteriors here sit on a five to ten year repaint cycle. Higher and more exposed ground runs at the short end of it.
Scheduling works the same way regardless of which town you are in. A crew based here does not add a travel line to a Fruita estimate versus a Grand Junction one, and the same nine-year guarantee applies whether the job is three streets from our office or out past Loma. A small community east of the valley, close enough to Grand Junction that we schedule it like a valley job. Same pricing, same crews, same nine-year guarantee.
Out past Loma towards the Utah line. Mostly rural, so most jobs here involve outbuildings, metal structures and fencing alongside the house.
Up towards the Grand Mesa, which means higher elevation, colder winters and a shorter exterior painting season. We plan Mesa work around the weather rather than the diary.
Northeast along the river. A small community and a longer drive, but neither the price nor the guarantee changes because of the distance.
South of Orchard Mesa towards Delta. Rural property, usually with outbuildings and fencing, and the same open exposure as the rest of the valley.
Two things decide whether we cover somewhere: whether we can get a crew there consistently, and whether we can still get a crew there in year eight if a guarantee call comes in.
A nine-year term only means something if the drive is one we will still make in nine years. Drawing the map at Grand Junction, Mesa County and Montrose is what makes the guarantee a working promise rather than a line on a page, and it is why the terms are the same in De Beque as they are three streets from our office.
